Ri Seong-geum 26, North Korea won the International Weightlifting Federation IWF World Cup by setting a new world record in total.


In the women's 49kg class competition in Phuket, Thailand on the 1st, Lee Sung-geum carried 97kg of impression, 124kg of dragon, and a total of 221kg.


The total 221kg is a new world record, exceeding the previous world record of 216kg set by Lee Sung-geum when he won the gold medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games in September last year.

Natawat Chomchuen 23, Thailand, ranked second in the weight class, held a total of 269kg 119kg for Yongsang, 150kg for Yongsang, and Rijaltin 25, Vietnam, ranked third, held a total of 268kg 120kg for Sangsang, 148kg for Yongsang.


Bang Eun-cheol was pushed to third place in the impression, but he was ranked first in total with a reverse reversal in the dragon phase.
